Past struggles give us a clear indication of where we first developed our Creative Superpower.
The hero in any journey is always transformed by overcoming struggles and challenges. If these struggles weren’t important to us, we would simply walk away from the problem. The fact that we continued to struggle means that we knew we had something to learn and subsequently, we had something we could then teach.

Why is it important to understand past struggles?
By its very nature, creativity is a struggle. We are making new connections, trying new things and it is easy to lose our way. By looking at the things we struggled with most five years ago, we often gain a clearer picture of what was important to us then. We also understand what struggles we were able to overcome and where this knowledge might be of use to others.
